Dear Burgess Family, Mary was one of the sweetest lady I have ever known. I loved to hear her stories of some of her past life. She gave me a signed copy of her book. I will think of her often. My deepest sympathy, Joyce Muller

Dear Burgess Family, This world lost a creative, educated, vital and wonderful woman this week. I will miss her and our moments together. A few weeks ago, we spent some time as I had found information on her Dad, Professor Hayden. We laughed and enjoyed looking at a picture book. It was lovely being with her. I am sad that I am unable to attend Mary's funeral as we will be out of town with our grandchildren. Please tell her that I am there in spirit. I will always cherish her friendship. The lucky one, Val Burgess
