Premo Bartot, 83, formerly of Sheridan, WY and a member of The Powder River Boys (Korea), passed away Nov. 21, 2014, and his wife, Beverle Bartot, 84, formerly of Sheridan, WY and Thief River Falls, MN, passed away Dec 18, 2014, both in Payson, AZ.

On November 21, 2014, we lost a great man, my Dad, Premo Bartot.  He was born in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Premo and Mary Bartot on September 17, 1931. He grew up in Montana and Wyoming. Through his life he did a variety of things, from working at his father’s service station, delivering bread, logging, and owning bowling alleys and laundromats. His biggest accomplishment was when he and his close friend built a mobile home park in Mesa, AZ.

He served in Korea in the 300th Armored Field Artillery Battalion, and received 2 bronze stars, he was honorably discharged in 1952. Right after he got out he met and fell in love with Beverle Noel at a dude ranch. They were married in September of that year.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Beverle, daughter Debbie (Phil) Busenbark, and granddaughter Kelly, and a number of cousins.

Dad was truly an amazing man.

A special thank you goes out to Hospice Compassus for allowing
Dad to out with dignity.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Champion Funeral Home, 244 S. Brooks St., with Reverend Bob Miller officiating, followed by a committal service at 2:00pm in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Military Honors.
