Betty, know of our thoughts and prayers for you and all family. We fondly remember your days together in Jacksonville - at Illinois College and First Presbyterian Church, both places that mean so much to us, too. Memorial contributions have been sent to both. Thank you for remembering Illinois College and First Presbyterian Church. We celebrate the goodness that Bill brought to the world throughout his earthly life; we celebrate God's gift of eternal life. Peace, comfort, strength to you, Betty. Bob and Janet Chipman

Dear Betty, We were very sorry to read of Bill's passing in the Golden, Illinois newspaper and send you our sincere sympathy. My mother, Blanche Hill, was also one of Bill's high school teachers. Marie, Walter and Mother would be very happy and proud of all that Bill accomplished in his lifetime. We trust that many good memories will bring you some comfort at this very sad time. Sincerely, Mary Lee and Bill Dimond

To the family, my sincere condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
