I’m so terribly sorry for the loss of Brenda, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. We have been friends since high school, and she was such a sweet caring person. Although we lived far apart now, we still stayed in touch and messaged each other occasionally to say hi. I haven’t seen her for two years.. I was in Sheridan last July and asked her if she had time for a cup of coffee, but she said she was ill and wasen’t feeling up to going out, so she said next time I was in town. I’m so sad that time will never come now, I will miss my dear friend tremendously. Thinking of all of you in this time of sadness.

Dear Carolyn, I happened upon this obituary, and was so sorry to see the obituary of your daughter. I think of you and your family many times and wanted to say hello once in awhile and since the onset of the internet, I never write letters anymore and did not have an email address that I might contact you. My prayers go out to you at this time in sadness. I remember both Brenda and your son as babies. Life plays many tricks, twists, and unknowns and we all have to face them head on. I am the last of the Hermanson family. I have a niece and nephew of my sister Bettie. They both live in Oregon. I live in Portland, I retired from teaching at Concordia University after 52 years of teaching. I am now 90 going on 91 in April. Never thought I would make it this far. But there are limitations now and I will be buried in Sheridan when it happens. It was good to see your name and remember you and your family for so many years, but not happy about the circumstances. My prayers go out to you in this time of sadness and hope you are well and withstand the loss, but remembering that we shall all meet again in eternity. God bless you and may the rest of your life have only the necessary clouds for a magnificent sunset. If you have the means I would love to get an email from you. Your neighbor of old, Billy Hermanson chermanson@cu-portland.edu

Brenda you will be missed. You had a gentle heart and were always there when I need a laugh, to cry, or just a good friend. Though the years made our visits fewer and fewer, I always knew that when we did talk we would be be able to pick right up where we left off. My condolences to your family. You were a wonderful daughter, mother and grandmother. My heart is broken dear friend. I know now that I have a guardian angel who will keep me out of trouble, or maybe give me good tips on how to cause new types of trouble. Rest in Peace Dear Friend.
