Gerald Bloom, 42, of Sheridan, WY, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at his residence, the victim of a homicide.

Mr. Bloom was born in Englewood, CO to Kenneth and Linda (Lamm) Bloom. He grew up and attended schools in Boulder, CO. After school Gerald worked in construction in Colorado and Wyoming, most recently in the Jackson area. Gerald moved to Sheridan in 1998.

He was preceded in death by his 2 grandfathers; and 3 uncles.

Gerald is survived by his father and step-mother, Kenneth and Susan Bloom, of Lakewood, CO; one brother, Donald Bloom, of Sheridan, WY; one sister, Tiffany Johnson, of Knoxville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
