He was predeceased by : his wife Ana; his son Loren Dale Smith; and his brothers, Wm "Bill" Smith and Boyd "Puz" Jamison. He is survived by : his sons, John Bruce Smith (Amy) and Brett Smith (Lora); his brothers, Robert E. Jamison, Burr Jamison and Dean Jamison; his grandchildren, Ana, Peyton and Hillary; and his great grandchild Ava. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
