Cecelia K. Brooks, 94, of Sheridan, WY died Sunday, October 6, 2013, in Green House Living in Sheridan.
Cecelia was born July 24, 1919, in Sheridan to H. Glen & Edith (Murdock) Kinsley.
Cecelia grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan. She married Lyman H. Brooks, Jr..
In her last years, she was looked after by family friend Betty Harrison.
"When I am gone; I hope you will recall the loving friendship we have shared. Never forget that others will appreciate the good deeds you do, as I have appreciated the good deeds you have done for me. The heart is a garden where thought flowers grow. The kindly thoughts we think are seeds we sow. Never forget a thought that is selfish is like a weed and may there never be room for weed thoughts to grow. Would that I could repay one and all a portion of the kindly deeds strewn along my lifetime."

A Service of Remembrance will be 2:00pm on Friday (Oct. 11th) from St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
