Earl Thomas Anthony, 81, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at a facility in Bozeman, MT after a long battle with dementia.
Earl was born in Hazel Run, MN to Louie and Alma (Grover) Anthony.
He married Mary Kathryn (Nelson) on November 10, 1952. Earl first started his 42 year career with the BNSF Railroad as an electrician in Havre, MT, moved briefly to Forsyth, MT before settling in Sheridan, WY as a Roundhouse Foreman. He enjoyed hunting elk with his buddies, gardening, walking his dog Charlie and was a member of the Elks Lodge, and Big Horn Mtn Eagles.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary (Babe) Anthony, son Roger Anthony, his parents and all his siblings.
He is survived by his son Tom (Tammy) Anthony; daughters Shirley Grotz and Susan (Casey) Goodman, and grandchildren; April Graham, Misty Covault, Jedediah Jacob Goodman, Carissa Goodman, Tor Anthony and Troy Anthony, and numerous great -grandchildren, all of Sheridan.
