Edward Joseph Poll, Sr.: SHERIDAN — Mass of the Christian burial for Edward Joseph Poll, Sr., 98, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Glenn Whewell officiating with military honors accorded. Interment will be at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. He died Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Mountain View Living Center at the V.A. Hospital in Sheridan. Mr. Poll served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He also served in the National Guard for 35 years. Champion Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Name Knights of Columbus.
