Eleanor G. Miller peacefully passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 surrounded by her family.
Eleanor was born in Dodge N.D. on March 1, 1933 to the late Lydia and Jacob Sailer.
She graduated from Golden Valley High School in 1950. Soon after graduating, Eleanor married the love of her life, Arthur G. Miller on July 26, 1950, in Halliday, ND. They lived in Killdeer, ND until 1958 when they transferred with MDU to Sheridan, WY. She worked part time for 20 years at the Polar Food Bank and was a Girl Scout leader. Eleanor was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who found peace and solace within her church. She loved baking, needlepoint, knitting, gardening and taking care of those she loved.
Eleanor is survived by her husband Arthur, her children Jerry (Marla) Miller of Sheridan, WY and Constance (Scott) Peterson of Billings, MT. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tera M. Miller, Joshua (Brook) Peterson, Travis (Danielle Pavlovic) Peterson, Kirsten Peterson and her great grandchildren, Brent A. Miller and Everest and Finley Peterson.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Eleanor's Home Healthcare Nurse Desiree and the staff at Greenhouse Living of Sheridan for their compassionate care.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 13th ) from Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Phil Wold Officiating. Internment will be in Sheridan Elks Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
Memorials may benefit Trinity Lutheran Church.
