According to Henrik, Jesus sent down a ladder for his Great Grandma, Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Kelly to take her home on November 9, 2015 from the Rock Creek Center at Sheridan Manor in Sheridan, Wyoming. Betty, age 85, was born on August 16, 1930 in Dayton, Wyoming to John Paul and Suzanna (Legerski) Jolovich.

Betty graduated from Dayton High School in May of 1949 and lived her entire life in the Dayton area. Betty married Charles R Vine on January 2, 1955 in Monarch and lost him on August 23, 1975. Betty worked as a cook and janitor at the Tongue River High School in Dayton for many years. She attended many school activities in support of all the students. She also traveled with several school groups to Italy, England and Washington DC as many of the students were just part of her family. Betty was involved for several years with float building and events for the annual Dayton Days Celebrations. Betty also enjoyed gardening and raising beautiful flowers at her home in Dayton and as Betty always said, “You never know”.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Chuck, her parents, sisters – Agnes Janney and Rose Goodman and brothers – John, Joe, Rudolph, and Frank Jolovich. Betty is survived by her children Susan (Mike) Barrett of Dayton, Charles Vine of Dayton, Rick (Cheri) Vine of Sheridan, and Deb Kelly & partner Dave Wartensleben of Sheridan; her sister Mary Adamson of Sheridan; her brothers Paul (Betty) Jolovich of Sheridan, George (Joan) Jolovich of Washington, UT, Edward (Alyce) Jolovich of Torrington, WY and Donald (Judy) Jolovich of Idaho Falls, ID; Grandchildren – Geoffrey (Krystal) Vine, Serena Vine, Charlie Vine, Corey (Kelsey) Vine, Christopher (Abby) Vine, Lacy Kelly, Jennifer (Wade) Epperson, and Waylon Kelly; Great-Grandchildren – Jayda Kelly, Henrik Vine, Elaina Vine, and Enoch Lick; and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will begin at 9 AM prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Michael Ehiemere officiating.
A luncheon will follow in the Parish Hall. Memorials in Betty’s name may be made to: the Dayton Fire & Rescue at PO Box 100, Dayton, WY 82836 or to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be written at www.championfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Champion Funeral Home.
