Floyd England, of Sheridan, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Sheridan Manor. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 7, 1929 to Eddie and Gertrude England. Floyd was 87 years old at the time of his passing.
He moved to the Sheridan area on June 1, 1999 from Lander. Floyd became part of the R.E.N.E.W. Family for the past 17 years. He has no known family survivors, but the peers and staff at R.E.N.E.W. became his family.
Floyd had a special individual greeting for and an engaging smile for everyone. He enjoyed going to the truck stop to look at trucks and seemed to really enjoy the monster truck shows and sitting out on the porch watching the traffic go by when the weather would allow him to do so. Floyd also loved magazines, model trucks, cars, horses, and going for rides. He will be missed by all that knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Champion Funeral Home with Kelly Gooch officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
