SHERIDAN -- Funeral services for Melvin “Mel” Meharg Heckman, 94, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at the Grace Anglican Church. Military burial will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018, at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at the church. He died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018. Mr. Heckman served in the U.S. Navy. Champion Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
