Noddy Paul LeBlanc, Sr., 87, of New Iberia, Louisiana, passed away quietly September 30, 2016 at Westview Healthcare Center in Sheridan, WY. His tired ole heart finally just gave up.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Westview Healthcare Center, Big Horn Mountain Medicine, Sheridan Memorial Hospital, Greenhouse Living, and Veteran’s Home/Buffalo for their wonderful care over the 4 ½ years he resided in Wyoming.
In the short time he lived in WY, many people came to know and love Noddy. He was a true Cajun who spoke French and loved his crawfish and oysters. He won Golden Gloves in boxing in high school. Noddy served in the U.S. Navy while stationed in the Pacific during the late 1940’s. He was self - employed as a general contractor all of his life. Noddy is survived by his children: Noddy LeBlanc, Jr., Lumberton, Texas, Karen Bomar of Humble, Texas, and Ronnie LeBlanc of Sheridan, Wyoming; grandson Jonathan Bomar of Houston, Texas; a brother Jimmy LeBlanc of Nederland, Texas; and nieces and nephews in Louisiana.
A Memorial gathering will be held for friends and family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Champion Funeral Home.
