P. Elaine Carroll, 85, of Sheridan, Wyoming, left us to join her beloved husband on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Greenhouse Living of Sheridan.

Elaine was born June 14, 1928 in Aurora, Nebraska to Ralph and Lucille (Williams) Sautter. She grew up and attended schools in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School.

Elaine married Vern Eisenman in June of 1948 and after Vern’s death she married Don Carroll in June of 1980.

She worked for M.D.U. in Sheridan, was a police dispatcher in Greybull, Wyoming, and a Real Estate Agent in Sheridan, Wyoming. Elaine was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sheridan County Realtors Association and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

Elaine was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, horseback riding with her husband, Don, and above all spending time with her husband and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Vern Eisenman and Don Carroll; and one son, Mark Eisenman.

Elaine is survived by one son, David (Sandy) Eisenman, of Sheridan, Wyoming; one daughter, Lisa Carroll-Reece (Kevin), of Kingman, Arizona; stepsons, John Carroll, of Sheridan, Wyoming, Goeff (Marie) Carroll, of Barrow, Alaska, and Steve (Joyce) Carroll, of Sheridan, Wyoming; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from Champion Ferries Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Jones officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
