Reatha Laveta Kulcsar
November 7, 1914 ~ May 28, 2013

Reatha L. Kulcsar, a native of Atlanta, Missouri, passed away May 28, 2013 at her home in Monterey, CA. She has lived locally for the past sixty-nine years. Reatha worked for over fifty-five years as a bookkeeper for Asilomar Conference Grounds and Tostevin Accounting.

Reatha was a very active member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Pacific Grove, CA and was honored by the church as Elder Emeritus. She was also a member of the Pacific Grove Business and Professional Women’s Club, the Carmel Foundation, DUO Circle and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed gardening, history and creating ceramics.

Reatha’s husband, Alec, preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by four nieces and one nephew and their families. She especially enjoyed visits from her great-niece, Lisa Simpson and Lisa’s family.

Memorial services will take place at the Christian Church this Wednesday, June 5 at 11:00am in Pacific Grove, CA followed by burial in Sheridan, Wyoming. Local arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
