Terry Paul Wirtzberger, 76, of Sheridan, was born on August 6, 1939 to Paul and Dorothy
Wirtzberger in Westby, MT. Terry graduated from Sacred Heart High School and later became an X-Ray Technician.
He worked in Billings, MT for awhile and then moved to Sheridan where he worked for several years at Sheridan Memorial Hospital and the V.A. Medical Center.
Terry enjoyed his daily walks with his beloved canine companion, Dolly; gardening, especially planting flowers, cooking meals on a daily basis, and traveling around Wyoming, Montana and the Dakota’s.
He spent a good amount of time in his later years working with people with disabilities at RENEW and Easter Seals. Terry loved to assist people with special needs to be as independent as possible. In turn, they too, enjoyed being in good company with Terry.
He is survived by his son, Ryan (Diane) of Lochbuie, CO; a sister, Ginger Grimm of Kalispell, MT; his grandson, Jack; and several nieces and nephews. Terry will also be missed by many of his friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sheridan Senior Center, 211 Smith St., Sheridan, WY 82801. Arrangements are under the direction of Champion Funeral Home.
