Gerald“Jerry” James Claflin was born August 06, 1955 and was called home January 15,2020.

 “Don’t cry for me,
I’m not gone.
My soul is at rest,
My heart lives on.
Light a candle
For me to see
And hold onto
My memory,
But save your tears
For I’m still here,
By your side
Through the years.”

Jerry is survived by his wife Erma, his son Curtis, his daughter Caprice, his brothers and sisters; Jack (Bernie), Ginger (Pete),Richard (Carolyn), Irene (Mike), Rob (Tammy) and Bert.  Special nephew and niece; Skeeter and Pearl.  Three grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Everyone is welcome to join Jerry’s family and friends for a Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 758 Broadway Street, with Military Honors.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:  Dog and Cat Shelter 84 E.
