Jearld G. McCasland, 78, of Ranchester, WY passed away September 16, 2020.  He was born in Leslie, Arkansas on July 16, 1942 to parents Dempsey and Jane McCasland.  Jearld married Joan Plott August 25, 1961.

Jearld retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad after 30 plus years of service.  He was an avid storyteller/jokester, baker, Fun Uncle, Fishing Fool and hunting buddy to his family and friends.  In his spare time and “all the time” he was working on building projects.  

He was preceded in death by his four siblings: Evelyn,Helen, Jimmy and Sue.

Jearld is survived by his wife Joan of 59 years; his brotherDale of Clinton, Arkansas; two children: Kim (Paul) Svenson of Casper, WY andPam (Gavin) Havens of Parkman, WY; four grandchildren: Breanna (Darren) Paul of Casper, WY, Karl Svenson of Casper, WY, Treyton Havens of Arvada, CO and Madison (Kane) Purcella of Billings, MT.
