Jeff was born August 9, 1960, in Buffalo, MN. He grew up in Waverly, MN and after graduating high school he and Todd Rathkamp along with Darrell and Mary Rathkamp ventured out to Wyola, MT to fulfill his lifetime dream of ranching. He was married to Monna Rae Adickes, in January 1982. They were together for 10 years and from his marriage, there were three children (Molly, Maggie, and Ethan).
Throughout his lifetime, Jeff moved back and forth between Montana, Minnesota, and Wyoming.
At the time of his passing, Jeff was working for Sunlight Ranch doing what he enjoyed, living in his favorite place, the Cowboy State. He was active in the local pool league and looked forward to his visits with the grandkids. Jeff especially liked sharing his love of the mysterious with Molly and Maggie and his passion for hunting and sport shooting with Ethan. He shared his love of good music with all.
What we will miss most: his smile and bear hugs, his laugh and generosity, his life advice and willingness to listen, his calls to check in and “shoot the shit”, his stories, his sense of humor, and how he signed off on his text messages with “10 – 4,luv u”.
We hope that you will join his children in celebrating a man who was larger than life on Friday, October 28th at 3 pm, Park City Civic Center, 21 2nd Ave. S.W. , Park City, MT. Followed by a shindig in his honor at his favorite watering hole, Parkman Bar (Parkman, WY) on Saturday, October 29th at 6 pm, 268 State HWY 345, Parkman, WY.
