Jerome Miller
September 10, 1950 – July 18, 2019

Jerry Miller passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at the Mountain View Living Center of the VAMC.July 18, 2019 at the Mountain View Living Center of the VAMC.
Jerry was born on September 10, 1950 in Hazen ND. His family moved to Sheridan in 1958. He attended Linden Elementary School, Central Junior High School and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1968. Jerry attended Casper College before enlisting in the Air Force. He was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. After completing his time in the service, Jerry married Doris J. Vallie and welcomed their daughter, Tera M. Miller.
Jerry was a true Wyoming outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, camping and fishing Jerome (Jerry) A. Miller passed away peacefully on with his grandson, Brent.
In 2004, he married Marla Senier (Miller). Their time together was filled with love, happiness and laughter. Jerry retired as a custodian at Sheridan Jr. High School in 2018. He loved “his” teachers and the feeling was reciprocated by both staff and students. After his retirement, Jerry could often be seen sitting on his front steps, a book in one hand and the other throwing a stick for his dog Kahula and waving a peace sign to those that drove by.
Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor G. Miller. He is survived by his father, Arthur Miller, wife, Marla Miller, daughter Tera M Miller, grandson, Brent Miller and sister, Connie Peterson (Scott).
