John Michael Majszak, 77, of Sheridan, passed away April 26,2019 at his home in Sheridan, Wyoming. He was born October 31, 1941 in Canton, Ohio to Frank and Agnes (Lapshansky) Majszak.  

He married Theora Evans on June 20, 1964 at St. Francis Church in Traverse City, MI. They were happily married for 55 years.

John was a Welder, Diesel Mechanic and Insurance Salesman.  John enjoyed hunting big game, camping, hornhunting and riding ATV’s and snowmobiles through the Big Horn Mountains.  He also enjoyed listening to music, watching western movies, football and baseball.  John treasured his family and savored spending time with them.

John was preceded in death by his son Jason James “Jim”; his parents Frank and Agnes Majszak; his brothers: Richard (killed in the Korean War) and Wayne and his sister Mary Helen.

John is survived by Theora his wife of 55 years; his brothers: Bob and Frank Jr.; his sister Susan;  his sons: Greg (Alyce), Matt (Dawn), Monty (Tawni); his daughters: Lisa Majszak, Kristy (Steve) Szmul, and MaryAnn Majszak; his grandchildren: Brandon,Nikki, Tommy, Colton, Eric, Christian, Shelby, Connor, Jonathan, Jackson, Zander, Ephrym; and his great grandchild: Levi.  

A visitation will be held at Champion Funeral Home Chapel at6:30 pm on May 2, 2019.  

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church at10:00 am on May 3, 2019 with Father Clark officiating.
