Patricia "Patty" A. Mulholland Kuzara

About:

Patricia “Patty” Ann Mulholland Kuzara 10/28/1941 ~ 10/12/2023

Patty was born in Sheridan, WY on October 28, 1941 to Robert and Geraldine Mulholland. She passed away peacefully at Sheridan Memorial Hospital on October 12, 2023 with her sister Carol and her brother Tom at her side. Patty lived most of her life in the Sheridan area. She also lived in California and Denver. Patty attended school in Sheridan from kindergarten through high school, graduating from Sheridan High School in 1959. Patty went on to college in Denver majoring in accounting, like her father. She met her first husband, James Grosso while there. Together they had three children, Susan, Jimmy and Rob. After her divorce she later married and was separated from James Kuzara.

Growing up Patty was very active in 4H. Learning to sew, knit, crochet, bake and cook. Patty was an accomplished seamstress. She spent many hours at her sewing machine sewing clothes for herself, her children and her friends. Patty’s children grew up with the hum of her sewing machine and Neil Diamond coming from her sewing room. The happiest times of Patty’s life were spent in Story, WY with her children and grandchildren. Many days were spent playing in the creek that ran by their house. The kids would catch fish in the creek and she taught them to cook their fish over the fire pit on a stick. Known to all of them as “fish on a stick!” Patty’s favorite were the s’mores they all made over the fire afterward. While living in Story, she had a large garden growing all types of vegetables and strawberries. She canned, froze and shared her bounty. Everyone helped her in the garden picking and eating, including the deer. Patty loved the holidays, especially Christmas. She decorated and celebrated them all. The traditions are so strong they are now being passed on to the fifth generation. Patty was in her element in the kitchen cooking and baking. Family dinners with lots of wine were her favorite.

Patty was preceded by her parents and her two beloved sons, James Franklin Grosso, Jr. and Robert Michael Grosso.

Surviving her are her daughter, Susan K. Grosso of Lakewood, CO, brothers; Thomas (Karen) Mulholland, Dennis Mulholland, sister Carol (Chris) Hill, Grandchildren; Jason Tesch (Ashley Dwyer), Jennifer (Beau) McLaughlin, Kaleb Grosso, Jacob Grosso (Haley McHenry), Domonic Grosso, four great grandchildren; Myles and Mila McLaughlin, Bellamy Tesch and Renn Grosso.

The family would like to thank everyone at Cascades of Sugarland for the loving care and friendships she made while there.

In lieu of flowers, Patty and her family would like you to buy a good bottle of wine and have a BIG family dinner.
