Robin Skinner, 62, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away on January 3, 2024.
Robin was born on October 19, 1961 to her parents Albert and Viva Channel in Sheridan Wyoming. Robin graduated from Sheridan High School. She was a professional dog groomer but had a tremendous passion for the arts. She was known by her loved ones for her artistic drawings, poems and also played bass guitar in her band Fatal Attraction in New Jersey. She won several awards for her artwork, which included her designs for her band album covers. Robin enjoyed cooking and trips to the Bighorn Mountains, especially when it involved hikes with her mom.
Robin married Stanley Whigham and gave birth to two beautiful children. Christa and Stephen Whigham.
Robin was preceded in death by her father Albert Channel and her grandparents Ruth and Leon Baker.
She is survived by her two children, Christa Whigham of Sheridan and her son, Stephen Whigham and his wife Kalee Whigham of Amarillo, Texas, sisters Holly Tracer of Sheridan and Cheri Evans of Kalispell, Montana, brother William Channel of Boise, Idaho, mother Viva Channel of Sheridan, fiancé Dave Johns and her beloved service dog Falcor. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A small private farewell with close family members was held at Champion Funeral Home in Sheridan Wyoming. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will always be felt amongst the Big Horn Mountains.
