Ross Lee Frady

About:

Ross Lee Frady was born on October 16, 1945 in Douglas, Wyoming. He was born to Richard Frady and Mavis Burgess. He grew up in Douglas, Wyoming and attended school in Douglas, he earned his GED in 1965. He married Carolyn Sue Wigington on September 23, 1963 at First Baptist Church in Logan, Utah. Ross served in the US Army, his service was from 1964 to 1970 during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of Sgt and received the following medals: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, 2 Overseas Service Bars, Good Conduct Medal, 2 Marksman Ship Badges, and Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Ross moved from Casper to Clearmont in 1976. He owned several businesses in Clearmont. He was the fire chief of Clearmont, he and Carol also ran the ambulance service for Clearmont for around 10 years. Ross also worked as the town mechanic until he retired. He was an active member of the Clearmont Community Church. He was a coin and jewelry collector, he also enjoyed going to auctions. Ross loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sons; Steven (Mysty) Frady of Colorado, Donald (Gail) Frady of Gillette, WY, his brother; Ray (Jere) Frady of Sheridan, WY, his sister; Marjorie (Steve) Glennan of Baltimore, MD, his 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.He is Preceded in death by his parents; Richard (Dick) Frady and Mavis Frady, his son; Eric Wade Frady, his wife; Carolyn Sue Frady.

A graveside service for Ross Lee Frady with military honors will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Lynn Qualm officiating. A reception will be held at 1 pm in Clearmont, WY at Clearmont Community Church.
