Thomas "Tom" Roush

About:

R.I.P. Thomas (Tom) Don Roush

Tom, who was only 48 years old, passed away on November 1, 2023 from severe diabetes and other health issues which were due to a long battle with addiction. Tom was born on August 3, 1975, along with his twin brother, Tracy, in Midland Michigan.

He was a natural athlete, much like his twin, Tracy. They did many things together during their childhood. They had a stronger bond than most twins and Tracy meant everything to Tom. Tracy is definitely Tom’s P.I.C. and vice versa.

At age 3, Tom and Tracy both received little purple bicycles that their grandparents sent. Before their parents could even put the training wheels on the twins were off and riding down the street together. At that moment Tom had a passion for BMX races, receiving many trophies. When he was a little older, he started riding dirt bikes and then moved up to Motocross racing.

Tom grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming and for a few years he lived in Arizona. Tom’s roots were in his hometown by the Big Horn Mountains where he would reside for the rest of his life.

He worked on oil rigs and in construction. He had a passion for BMX, animals and helping anyone that needed it. He was the most kind, caring and loving person. He would give the shirt off of his back, literally, if someone needed it. He was never a judgmental person; he knew people from all walks of life and treated everyone with respect no matter what their circumstances were.

Tom had a way that drew people to him, he could make anyone laugh and feel comfortable. He had a generous heart, deeply loved his family and friends, and was passionate about his dogs and punk rock.

Tom is now at peace, and he will be Forever missed by all that were fortunate to know him. Until we meet again…

Tom is preceded in death by his father; Daniel (Dan) Roush, of Denver, his dog and best friend; Sage (Sagey) and his grandparents; Robert and Evelyn Roush of Sheridan.

He is survived by his daughter; Shylo Erb, of Gillette, mother; Tamera Trueblood (Tom Radigan), of Denver, brothers; Tracy Roush, of Sheridan, Jared (Shawnda) Roush, of Denver, Eric Trueblood, of Sheridan, Joseph Hays, of GA, sisters; Rachael Trueblood, of Sheridan, Dawn Bass, of Sheridan, Troy (Donna) Trueblood, of Buffalo, grandfather; Tom Trueblood, of Akron, OH, grandmother; Vonna Anderson, of Denver, uncle; Mark Roush, of Sheridan, aunts; Bonnie (Boomer) Judge, of MT, Janie Terrell, of CA, cousins; Stacy (Doug) Errett, of CO, Mike (Anita) Levi, of Douglas, girlfriend; Amy Lund, of Sheridan, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many very good friends.
